1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small piece of information stored by a website on a visitor's device. Similar technologies can also store or access information. Soltan uses cookies only where needed for the current service architecture.

This cookie is not used for advertising or cross-site behavioural tracking.
3. Cookie preferences and consent records
The website displays a cookie notice so visitors can make an informed choice. Because the current optional categories are not active, choosing “Accept all” does not activate trackers that are not present.
To remember the visitor's choice and provide evidence of the preference, Soltan stores a server-side consent record containing the IP address in binary form, the consent version, the selected category state, a timestamp and a one-way hash of the browser user-agent. The consent record is stored in the Soltan database and is not itself a browser cookie.
Consent records are intended to be retained for no longer than reasonably necessary to demonstrate the recorded preference and are automatically pruned after approximately 13 months, subject to applicable legal requirements.
4. No optional tracking currently active
Soltan's current application code does not deploy advertising cookies, cross-site tracking cookies or privacy-sensitive analytics cookies. Third-party blockchain libraries may contain generic cookie-handling code as part of their software packages, but Soltan does not use those libraries to set advertising or tracking cookies on the public website.
If optional cookies are introduced in the future, the cookie information and consent mechanism will be updated before those cookies are activated where consent is legally required.
5. Your choices
- Necessary only: allows strictly necessary cookies required for security, sessions and core functionality.
- Accept all: records your acceptance for all currently offered categories. At present, only necessary cookies are technically active.
- Cookie settings: provides category information and allows you to review the available choices.
Where consent is legally required for an optional cookie, Soltan will not rely on a pre-ticked box or implied consent.
6. Browser controls
You can also control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may cause account login, security controls or other functionality to stop working.
